Navigate The Way ✝️’s Creator

Ted Hallum

Ted Hallum is the creator of Navigate The Way ✝️, an AI-powered biblical tool forged to serve church leaders, lay leaders, and Christ-followers who desire deeper theological clarity and spiritual growth. Rooted in conservative, reformed, evangelical convictions, NTW✝️ combines biblical fidelity with AI precision—providing doctrinally sound responses and redemptive-historical insight to Christians around the world.

Ted currently serves as the Director of Analytics & Information Management at Ligonier Ministries, where he leads the strategic use of data and information systems to support the global discipleship mission of proclaiming the holiness of God. At Ligonier, Ted is building a culture where analytics serves—not overshadows—the gospel, ensuring that modern technology helps amplify theological clarity, organizational stewardship, and Kingdom reach.

His vocational arc spans military intelligence, academia, and AI leadership—including service as Deputy Director of IBM oLabs, and Adjunct Professor of Business Analytics at William & Mary. Ted also founded the Veterans in Data Science & Machine Learning community, demonstrating his long-standing commitment to mentorship and equipping those in transition.

A U.S. Army veteran and two-time Bronze Star recipient, Ted holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Toccoa Falls College and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from William & Mary. His technical expertise is matched by his theological depth—shaped by years of personal discipleship, church service, and the writings of R.C. Sproul.

Today, Ted sees NTW✝️ not as a tech experiment, but as a theological stewardship—offered freely to the Church as a means of clarity in a time of confusion. He remains passionate about equipping believers with truth that transforms, praying his work might help others know, worship, and obey the God who saves.

Reflecting on the path God has ordained, Ted is resolute in his conviction that he has been prepared “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14). He does not view his skills as personal accomplishments, but as stewardship trusts—entrusted to him by providence, to be deployed for the glory of Christ and the edification of His Church (Romans 11:36; 1 Peter 4:10).
